Faraday Future FF91 fastest car

Faraday Future FF91 didn’t break the speed record, but with its first prototype did manage to become the fastest car to hit 60 in the world at just  2.39 seconds, the quickest sprint time ever recorded. This puts Lamborghinis Ferraris, Bugattis, and Bentleys much behind in the acceleration and may give its ultimate rival, Tesla Model S P100D, a run for its money when FF91 finally arrives.

Faraday Future FF91 launch was something to reckon with respect. As the live demonstration, among multiple tech features, showed it could sprint from 0-60mph in 2.39s, breaking the previous world record of Bugatti Veyron Supersport (2.5s). While Bugatti is preparing The Chiron for a higher speed bid (0-60 in 2.0 seconds), this doesn’t change the fact that FF91 has delivered the best of the electric drivetrain performance with its 1,050 horsepower electric motors.

According to Faraday Future, it officially is, however, the final word will come out when top authority auto blogs and car reviewers like Top Gear will put a lid on the claim. We can only wish that it is true because it would mark the end of combustions engines and the crown could be finally given to environmental friendly EVs to run the show both on the roads (Tesla cars are already doing that) and on the track as well (watch out Koenigsegg Regera).

What’s the future of Faraday Future FF91

The promise is still half complete because demonstrating the electronic vehicle is one thing, putting it to production is completely another matter. As the number of electronic cars continue to explode, meeting up with production demand proved a challenge even for Tesla’s yet to arrive Tesla Model 3 (deliveries expected in 2018). However, for Faraday Future’s FF91, it’s going to be a much bigger challenge because their automobile hasn’t even reached the assembly lines. The 2017 FF91 is finally available for a refundable $5000-preorder with deliveries in 2018.

How often we have witnessed those notorious car accidents on the racing tracks that deprived us of gifted car racers like Arterton Senna. Well, cars like FF91 can finally prevent that or at least make such accidents less lethal because accidents that survive the impact, mostly never survive the fire and that’s the curse of combustion engines. They are quick to catch flames and add more misery to the situation.

Faraday Future FF91 as the Fastest Car: Summary

There’s a long road ahead before Faraday Future FF91 becomes successful, and as you can see in the video, there was a minor glitch that placed some pinkish embarrassment on the presenter’s face. The effect of such uncertainties is magnified manifolds during the production run and sometimes even arduous testing can’t prevent the fate that GoPro’s Karma drone and Samsung Galaxy Note 7 had to face. Their batteries failed them and as you can see, batteries are the backbone for electronic vehicles that Tesla took years to perfect.
