Google is not only building up its hardware capacity, but also boosting up its assets on the software end. A new report says the tech company is making a laptop and tablet that will run on an android-chrome OS hybrid: a new operating system to challenge Windows 10 and MacOS in the operating systems market.
The android-holding company is currently teasing the big October 4 launch supposedly a new smartphone to challenge Apple’s iPhone market, while on the software end the war is against its MacOS and Microsoft’s Windows 10. According to Android Police, a new android-chrome OS hybrid laptop code-named Bison (Pixel 3) is underway. It will be run by Google’s new OS of galactic proportions…. “Andromeda!”

Andromeda OS will also operate Huawei-built Nexus tablets that may continue Google hardware line till the search titan is able take its hardware to industrial production. Sources say the next Google notebooks is not a Chromebook. Reportedly, it will feature a 12.3-inch display, tab mode, stylus support, Intel processor, two USB-C ports, backlit keyboard, glass trackpad, and force detection. The new Nexus tablet will feature slimmer body, 7-inch display, and 4GB RAM.
Both new Google devices are due to be released in Q3 2017 and they will both run on the upcoming android-chrome OS hybrid Andromeda OS.
